The year 2022 brought on a very special occasion for the ITC Faculty at the University of Twente. As many as six professors held their inaugural lectures this year. Prof. Raúl Zurita Milla (Department of Geo-information Processing) and Prof. Justine Blanford (Department of Earth Observation Science) did so in September. Prof. Wieteke Willemen (Department of Natural Resources) also delivered her inaugural lecture in September. In October, Prof Mark van der Meijde (Department of Applied Earth Sciences), Prof. Cees van Westen (Department of Applied Earth Sciences), and Prof. Norman Kerle (Department of Applied Earth Sciences) held their inaugural lecture.
