HERITAGE Consortium to Host the 12th International Conference on Urban Climate (ICUC12)
The HERITAGE consortium, led by Faculty ITC of the University of Twente, is proud to announce its successful bid to host the 12th International Conference on Urban Climate (ICUC12).
We warmly invite you to take part in this prestigious event, taking place in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, from 7 to 11 July 2025. The event will bring together researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to tackle critical challenges at the intersection of urban environments and climate.
This year’s conference, themed "Heritage as an Urban Climate Challenge", will explore the multifaceted relationship between urban climate resilience and our built environment heritage. Heritage is interpreted in the broadest sense, encompassing not only historical and listed buildings but the entirety of the urban fabric we inherit as a society. - Urban Climate Processes & Methods
- Hazards & Health
- Urban Morphology, Planning, & Design
- Urban Energy Transition
- Societal Engagement
Additionally, Special Sessions will address emerging topics and cutting-edge approaches in urban climate research and practice.
The call for abstracts is now open until 31 January 2025, 13:00 CET.
