The ‘International Students Sports Day 2022’ will be hosted by the Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation at the University of Twente on Saturday 2nd April 2022 in Enschede.
Every year, the institutes of international higher education organize a sports events for their students. The event was first held in 1980 and since then has taken place annually in one of the cities with an international education institute. The event is no longer exclusive to the Institutes of International Education: we welcome all international students enrolled at Higher Educational Institutions. We encourage the students to meet, engage, compete and overall share the experience of the international community.
We expect hundreds of students from a wide range of countries, to be guests on the campus of the University of Twente. They will compete in various disciplines such as soccer, darts, basketball, table tennis and chess. The day is generally highly enjoyed by all international participants, supporters and accompanying staff.
All sports activities and lunch will take place at the Sports Centre on the unique campus of the University Twente. The dinner, the award-ceremony and the closing party will be held at the Faculty ITC building at the Hengelosestraat in Enschede.
