ITC is a great choice for me to deepen my knowledge in the environmental field
My name is Mohammad and I am from Iran. I have been granted the "ITC Excellence Scholarship" for the Master in Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation with specialization in Water Resources and Environmental Management at the ITC faculty. My background is in Civil Engineering, and I hold a Master's degree in Structural Engineering from Iran.
The ITC faculty, one of the most well-liked faculties in Geo-information Science and Earth observation, was a great choice for me to deepen my knowledge in the environmental field after working for more than eight years on some structural projects, teaching a course on "Earthquake Engineering" to civil engineers at Arak University, and publishing my ISI journal paper on the subject of climate change.
Studying abroad is a new academic journey with some challenging issues, but I found it a new chance to promote my professional academic situation which gives me a chance to build my international network.
After my master’s I would like to continue my professional life in the water resources field in a corner of the globe, and I will try to build some professional opportunities for my future life.
