The Faculty of Geo-information Science and Earth Observation is pleased to announce the offer of partial scholarships to a maximum of 25 applicants with a very good academic track record. These academic scholarships are designed for students exhibiting as a high-skilled geospatial professional.
What is expected of you?
ITC expects applicants to score an average mark for the ITC study programme that falls in the 10% highest mark range obtained by their regular students. As such, only academically excellent applicants will be selected for the award of these scholarships.
Before the end of the first academic year, a progress appraisal will be made to determine if the candidate is making satisfactory progress and if the ITC Excellence Scholarship funding may be continued to the second year. For the continuation of the fellowship into the second academic year of the programme, the student should have obtained at least all but 7EC (study points) ie. 53 out of the available 60 EC, before the start of the second academic year.
Scholarship value
As this is a partial scholarship, admitted applicants must be able to show that additional funding for the two-year Master's programme is available to complement the funding through this scholarship (i.e. covering all remaining fees and costs, € 17,000, before the payment deadline).
