The ITC Excellence Scholarship Programme only applies to the Master's programmes in Geo-information Science and Earth Observation and Spatial Engineering.
By submitting this application to the ITC Excellence Scholarship Programme (ITC-ESP), I confirm that:
1. I have read, understood and agree to the general terms and conditions governing all educational programmes conducted at ITC as contained in the current ‘Admissions and enrolment policy’
2. I have read, understood, and accept the general and specific terms and conditions as set out in the Rules and Regulations of the ITC Scholarship.
3. I understand and accept that recipients of the ITC Scholarship are not permitted to earn external income through employment.
4. I understand and accept that recipients of the ITC Scholarship could be approached to join information sessions, promotion and recruitment activities towards new prospective students and/or to participate in customer journey activities.
5. I understand and accept that whilst I may apply for other scholarships in addition to the ITC Excellence Scholarship, but that I will NOT be able to receive any other scholarship that is administered by the University of Twente (with the sole exception of the NL Scholarship).
6. I specifically understand and accept that the ITC Excellence Scholarship Programme is aimed at those students who can achieve and maintain a high performance in the standard assessment processes of the Master’s degree programme, and that they should have obtained at least 53 of the available 60EC (study points) before the start of the second academic year. If this criterion is not met, then the scholarship may not be continued for the second academic year.
7. The financial summary is given on the webpage of the ITC Excellence Scholarship programme. I understand and accept that as the ITC Excellence Scholarship Programme does NOT cover the full total study costs (comprising tuition fee, living allowance, insurance, residence permit and travel), and that consequently the balance of the total costs must be met by myself, and that I will be in a position to pay these remaining costs to ITC no later than the payment deadline (the funds must be in our bank account by that date).
8. I understand and accept that the ITC Excellence Scholarship Programme is awarded for two academic study years and provides 23 months of living allowance, and that extensions are not provided. In the event that the study programme is not completed within the funded period, then extra tuition fees and living allowances would need to be funded by the candidate to enter into a further academic year.
9. I acknowledge and accept that I will be responsible for the payment of all travel costs from my home country to ITC and back again at the end of the Master’s degree programme.
10. I understand that I will require a laptop computer to participate in the ITC course. I have reviewed the minimum specifications of the required computer and accept that I will either bring my own computer, or purchase one on arrival, and that I will make the funds available to do this. ITC offers assistance in purchasing a laptop computer through the ITC Notebook Programme.
