REBAR TAHSEEN ALI FROM IRAQ

I studied for my BSc at the University of Salahaddin in Erbil, in the Department of Geology of the College of Science − so I am a geologist. Still, it was always my wish to gain a degree in geo-information science.

Actually, ITC has changed my life completely. I acquired considerable knowledge from various perspectives, including new aspects of geology, and I learned much about the fields of GIS and remote sensing. This knowledge helps me to teach at the university and I am proud to have been a student at ITC.

Before coming to ITC I was an assistant geologist, but since gaining my degree at ITC I have been promoted to lecturer. Currently, I lecture on remote sensing at the university

 In the future, I plan to embark on a sandwich programme between ITC and my university in order to study for my PhD in the same field.
