On Tuesday 9 September Her Royal Highness Princess Margriet visited the University of Twente, together with a delegation from the Red Cross.
Princess Margriet visited the faculty ITC to take note of the applications of the software programm ILWIS (Integrated Land and Water Information System). This is a complete software with image processing, spatial analysis and digital cartography. The delegation of the Red Cross, including His Higness Prince Pieter-Christiaan (vice president of the Dutch Red Cross), is interested in the work of the ITC in disaster-risk management.
