The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Faculty ITC (University of Twente) and the Foundation University of the State of Santa Catarina (UDESC) has been signed on 9 April 2024. With signing the MoU, the collaboration between UT’s ITC Faculty and UDESC in the area of education, research and capacity development is outlined.
The MoU emphasizes e.g. the importance of continuing education programmes, exchange of staff and students, research and capacity development. During the initial discussions in March 2024, when a UDESC delegation paid a visit to ITC, some of the identified common interest fields to be jointly further explored are land registration in urban areas, relation between informal land registration and natural hazard exposure.
