Spatial Challenges First National Theme Day

On January 23rd, 2025, the Sectorplan staff under the theme 'Spatial Challenges' is organizing its first National Theme Day. We will gather in a stimulating environment to discuss how to move forward the main objectives of the sector plan Earth & Environmental Sciences within the theme ‘Spatial Challenges’. Discussions will be dedicated primarily to enhancing co-creation and collaboration within and outside academia to address societal challenges. Early-career researchers and PhD candidates will delight the audience by presenting their research in a poster session. 

The event will be held in the new ITC building on campus of the University of Twente (max. 50 persons).

It is free of charge and intended for all Sectorplan researchers who are employed by Dutch universities and institutes for the theme 'Spatial Challenges'

Call for posters

We invite for posters of scientific research results to be presented at our Spatial Challenges Theme Day. Abstracts are welcome on all topics in the field of the Sector Plan Bèta Technique - Spatial Dynamics. 

This call is specifically directed to active researchers in the field, including doctoral students and postdocs, with the aim to facilitate the exchange and discussion about research, results and activities. Also recently graduated MSc students are welcome to present.

Deadline for poster submission:  07 January 2025 (Authors shall be notified by 15 January 2025) 

Deadline for registration (without poster): 10 January 2025 (Participants shall be notified by 15 January 2025)
