NeRF and AI for 3D Modeling Webinar recording 15 November 2023

On 15 November the UAV Center of Faculty ITC, University of Twente and ARquimea Research Center organised a webinar NeRF and AI for 3D Modeling.

NeRF, short for Neural Radiance Fields, represents a cutting-edge technique within computer graphics and computer vision. It utilizes neural networks to create 3D scenes from 2D images by understanding spatial locations and their corresponding scene color and density. This approach facilitates the generation of intricate, lifelike 3D scenes by comprehensively capturing both the geometry and appearance from a collection of 2D images. This capability enables remarkable rendering and reconstruction of scenes from diverse perspectives, drawing attention to its proficiency in generating high-quality 3D reconstructions from constrained 2D image data.

Chair: Farzaneh Dadrass Javan
