Application deadlines
As demand for courses is high and places are limited, it is essential to apply early
It should be noted that candidates who intend to apply for some form of sponsorship (e.g. Netherlands Fellowship Programme, World Bank Joint Japan Scholarship Programme, International Fellowship Programme of the Ford Foundation, STUNED, European Union, Huygens Scholarship Programme) will be required to adhere to the deadlines imposed by the sponsor, and in many cases these may be as early as nine months before course commencement.
"Early bird" deadline
Seven months before the starting date of the course.
For applicants who wish to apply for fellowships and thus need early notification of admission.
Main deadlines
Two and a half month before the starting date of the course.
For applicants who need a visa to enter the Netherlands.
Six weeks before the starting date of the course.
For applicants who wish to apply for a certificate course.
Four weeks before the starting date of the course.
For applicants who wish to apply for a distance education course.
Late deadline
Four weeks before the starting date of the course.
For applicants who do not need a visa and/or do not wish to apply for a fellowship.
